Double-sided tape is also an important auxiliary material in carton printing, but its importance is often ignored, resulting in abnormal printing. Carton Printing Machinery
So what are the functions?
Double-sided tape has the following functions:
1. Fix the printing plate on the base or roller. If it is fixed on the roller, the ease of unloading and leaving no glue residue should be considered. At the same time, the design of the release paper should fully consider the overflow of air bubbles.
2. Fill the printing gap. All equipment manufacturers specify "standard plate thickness", so the thickness of the tape also takes into account the repeat length of the printing. Under normal circumstances, the design plate thickness is 7.2, as follows:
Printing plate 3.94+liner 3.05+ film base 0.1+ tape 0.11=7.2 mm
; 3. Improve printing quality.
There are the following types of tape materials.
Film, fiber and foam.
The first two have basically no elasticity, while the foam type has very good resilience, similar to the R-BAK liner.
For the accuracy of overprinting, it is required to control the error to a minimum during the process of printing the plate, so it is recommended to use a tape with good transparency, because the plate is transparent and the base is also transparent. This allows for good proofreading.
If the plate is misaligned, it is difficult to adjust it by the printing machine and the plate. To achieve the transparency of the tape, it is best to choose film tape.
At present, most domestic manufacturers choose 0.38mm fiber-type tape for cost and tensile strength of tape, which is not transparent, but also increases the thickness of the plate.
Posting requirements:
1. Post the plate on the film base, be sure to find the center line, if a cross line is made, align the cross When drawing lines, the lines must be thin. Use a fine needle to pop out the air bubbles. It is best to have a light source illuminated.
2. Hang the plate on the top of the roller, and set it to zero from the feeding direction. The line should be thin and the center line must be accurate.
